Today I learned about words.Reverie means dream I thought it meant night.In Kauai Hawii it rains 460 inches  a year. China was the first place to fly kites. Peered means to look.  I thought it meant look.

Today in  music we had our music memory  test. Mike  got 80%  on  his first  test.

Today we  had a busy, busy day.  Mrs. Steele and Mrs. Ernst turned 35 years old today. (Ha, Ha, Ha).  Wow, they are getting old. (Smile)  We would also like to thank our friend Hanna and her dad for leaving us a comment on our blog.

Hanna, we have a question for you…..Why did Smokey sit on the clock?    He wanted to be on time.  (Funny, ha, ha!)

Today we did a flip chart with Ms. Flint while Mrs.Steele was at a meeting.We got nine out of ten right. Mrs. Steele said that we are the smartest bunch of 3rd graders she has ever seen! We also practiced for our Music Memory Test.

Today we had music.  We played the recorders and did long notes and some short notes.  It was awesome.  We even played hot cross buns.  We also took a music memory test that had 10 questions.  We had to pic A,B,C. It was fun.  We also did the activotes today. We had a great day. Mrs. Steele said we are the best EVER!

Today,we had a math packet.There were about 20 pages in this packet.We also had Drops in the Bucket and library.In Drops in the Bucket,there were more regrouping problems then normal sheets.In library,we read a book called Ushakeus Eggs.It was about a bird who fell from the sky.It was a very fun day!

Today we did drops in the bucket the sheets keep on changing. We did math and  learned that you can do a problem 3 different ways or more than 3 ways.We watched a BrainPop video and learned that sometimes you can add a ly to the word to make it an adverb, but you have to make sure that the word makes sense.

Today in school we got to see 4 Husky dogs.  We also got to see the sled that they pull.  I don’t remember all the names of the dogs but I do remember Teton.  She was the oldest dog.  The dogs were bored so they were digging lots of holes.  Mr. Tim won’t like that.  We liked the dogs but our legs and feet got tired.
